About Ara Lucia
Founder Ara Lucia Ashburne is a SoulCollage® facilitator and coach. She works with non-profit organizations, boards, conferences, and individuals in a variety of settings. She opened the SoulNavigation℠ studio in 2011.
Previously, she studied Counseling Psychology and Spirituality at Vermont College, completed a two-year program for psychotherapists in Gestalt Psychology at the Washington Center for Consciousness Studies, and has facilitated Centering Prayer groups in Chicago. She has also taught dance and theatre to adults and children, directed documentary videos, and runs an online photography gallery of her work.
So what is SoulCollage®?
SoulCollage® is a fun, interesting, and meaningful process for making a unique collection of cards. These cards represent different aspects of your personality, beliefs, experiences, relationships, family, community, and world. While making the collage is a creative process, no artistic skills are needed. It can be used intuitively to seek guidance, increase awareness, and as a tool for self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
